Just watching Spain playing on tv at moment, to be honest they're on a different level to England, far superior.

The tournament as a whole hasn't lost any of the magic, it only completely loses its magic if England aren't there.Steve1956 wrote:Anyone else indifferent to this tournament,it's lost it's magic for me just like the FACup...not interested at all.
I mean yes it's hard to like some of the England players these days, but when that first whistle blows I'll be at fever pitch.
A little bit of magic has been lost because it's being played in a tosser country, but the next one in 2022 is an absolute f***ing joke.

I usually watch the majority of games, I'll watch 2 of the 3 England games and the odd one of other teams but I'm really not that interested this time aroundSteve1956 wrote:Anyone else indifferent to this tournament,it's lost it's magic for me just like the FACup...not interested at all.

Re: World Cup Tournament..2018
I think I've looked forward to every World Cup since I started watching football and I can't see that changing any time soon.
It's slightly different these days because, access to media being what it is, there aren't too many nations that you know absolutely nothing about, but it's still a fantastic tournament.

Will watch some of the evening games, bit like the Champions League the group stages can be tepid, but once the KO'S arrive feels the tournament has started in earnest,if i had to plump i'd tip the French to go all the way, they should have won the Euro's on home soil and are developing a good young squad.

Can I assume that the BBC and ITV are sharing all the live games?

Re: World Cup Tournament..2018
Cant wait. Love the world cup.
Lost interest in some of the england players. Cant relate to most of them. But Pope being on board will help with that.
Will never understand why people moan when its in russia or qatar (like south africa, japan and south korea before).
Firstly pretty much every moaner wont be going so it doesnt really affect them.
Secondly its a world cup for a reason. Because everyone in the world has a chance to compete in and host it. Thats part of the fun. Seeing world cups in different countries and cultures.
Travelling to Poland and Ukraine in 2012 and seeing how they both hosted it will live with me forever.
France in 2016 was great. But not a patch on euro2012 foe a whole host of reasons. (Oh and Ukraine and Poland were both a million times more welcoming and safer than France and a lot less trouble)
