France v Belgium
Hard to call, this one. Both been playing very well.
Belgium to just shade it 2-1.

Re: France v Belgium
Too close to call but could be a great match if they are both at their best.
ET and pens would be handy. A couple sent off for both sides would also be helpful for the weekend, whichever match we are in.

In a bar in Liege at the moment with both French & Belgium supporters all sitting together in harmony. Cannot imagine this would happen tomorrow night!

That's what i was thinking. Either team could win by a goal, or win by a fistful. So i decided to go with both and hope for a goalfest & a one-goal win.

bit of a strange decision by FIFA to have a Uruguayan ref considering the French just knocked out his team

That'd have been one of the all-time great world cup goals had that header crept inside the post from Giroud.

I'll be amazed if Madrid don't go in for him, far too good for ChelseaStayingup wrote:Hazard. Love watching this smashing footballer. Even when he plays against us!!!

I don't fancy England's chances in the final if they get through and play France.

Can't see us living against either of these two teams..both playing very well. Can we sprinkle some red cards around

Against the run of play for me but from what I’ve seen I’d rather play France anyway.

Notice the psychological difference already from the goal, yes i think we have a better chance against France.

Ten minutes ago Murohy said how amazing Dembele is (and how he learnt it playing alongside himself - pass the sick bucket).
Now hes been subbed Murphy says hes not had a good night.

The French midfield have done a number on KDB.
If we get to the final, then beat France, we'll have
done brilliantly, we really will.

Re: France v Belgium
For me Lloris and particularly Courtois, demonstrated, with their finger tips and leg length, why Nick Pope should be England's keeper.
For all his agility, Pickford cannot compete.

Re: France v Belgium
Brilliantly as Harry Maguire has done so far he'll have had a very good career if he can come close to matching Varane. He is arguably the best centre half in football at the moment.ElectroClaret wrote:The French midfield have done a number on KDB.

Miserable time wasting injury feigning french *****.
Re: France v Belgium
Score early against France and anything is possible...could so easy have been Belgium if they had converted with all the early possession.

No. He has made a couple of decent saves and got very lucky with one penalty.cricketfieldclarets wrote:Pickford has beem outstanding.
He has done nothing with this alleged playing from the back ability, other than get the defence closed down, while he pondered.
On that basis, you play the best keeper and he would be 3rd choice.

Absolutely. Hate seeing time wasting, injury feigning and the like.Spijed wrote:Will you complain if England do the same to win the tournament?
Hendersons theatrics after the colombia clash wound me up no end.
Re: France v Belgium
Very good game. Belgium needed to score with the chances they had early on. Their game with Brazil took more out of them than France's victory over Uruguay. Hazard played well first half but was less of a threat in the second-half.
France will win the World Cup.

Totally agree with this way OTT. For instance the back heel into Giroud was outstanding but the tackle on Giroud by Dembele after the back heel was sensational, Nobodies mentioned it on commentary or on the panel.DCWat wrote:Mbappe **** fest from Murphy.
