Forget France, we're playing Croatia. We could beat France in a one-off game, but tonight is going to be a tough game, first.

This may be of interest to someone - very last second though.....

A friend of mine has 2 tickets in a corporate box for England v Croatia game. He didn't realise when he bid for them months ago that England would be in this game and worse was he was getting married today. If anyone is interested he is looking for someone to take his place.

It's at Todmorden registry office at 5.00 pm. The bride’s name is Helen- she's 5'5" about 8st 7 lb; quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook

Pickford is a good keeper but is the chaviest looking rat I've ever seen. That vile sneering face, the hair, the tats. It's just screams chav vermin. Can't think of anyone chavier tbh.

I am absolutely, ridiculously and overwhelmingly pumped for this. I finished all the garden work a couple of hours back and banged on a playlist of uplifting motivational music whilst having a couple of beers and washing the dishes. Nervous, can't wait for this, perhaps a once in a lifetime experience, utterly sold and caught up in the fervour, what a wonderful feeling to be a part of. Whatever happens, proud of England, probably the best I've felt since Owen in 98'. Come on England.

Roy Keane looks like the love child of Phil Brown and David Dickinson.

Kane has the finger on Lovren so 2-0 England.
Harry might have 6 but 3 were pens, 1 was a fluke, 1 I could have scored and one was a great header. Tonight he’s on fire and Sterling will have the game of his life which will make him as an international player.

Yeah if Walker is playing inside like he is now, I think it actually suits Walker despite him probably being the best right back in the World.

Pleased with that sloppiness at the end of the half. Gives Southgate something to lay into them over.
Only concerns: it’s a game of two halves and Modric hasn’t turned up yet.

Encouraging 45 just a shame we didn't get the killer second, pleasing that after the early goal England didn't sit off but carried on playing.
Great strike from Tripps :D for him.

So far so good but midfield - particularly Dele Alli -need to stop giving the ball away on a 5-10 yard pass.

Croatia have had plenty of the ball in midfield so no complacency.

17/1 on Betfair.

This ref is a law to himself. A series of shocking decisions from not giving a foul on Kane to booking Walker after he had clearly been fouled.
