Cardiff, Boro and Newcastle showing interest according to the Mail on Sunday
Given what little Lennon offered last season, he could be a good upgrade going forward and especially helping out defensively (Pulis mode)
Add him to the multi buy offer

When you say little lennon i assume you refer to his size and not what he brought to the team. Because he brought a lot to the team.

Average player ratings for last season showed him bottom of the table
I get not everyone votes on this subject but a reasonable straw poll I would have thought

We signed Lennon in January and until the last few weeks of the season his contribution to the team and framework, was excellent. I’m not sure we need an upgrade, as I strongly expect that both JBG and Brady will start out-wide. I can’t see Phillips offering anywhere near as much as Lennon off the ball either.

Lennon faded badly last season after a good start. Hopefully a Dyche pre season is all he needs!

Lennon did fade as the season progressed but for those of us who remember Steve Harper .... happy days.
I’d take Phillips as a player but would he be a good ‘squad man’?

Agree completely, its the level we are at now, and how far we have come which i found funny, to think where we were.

Wet Tuesday nights ar Aldershot. An obligatory experience that might ‘ground’ some of our nearer fans?
Some fans are unimpressed by us potentially signing Clucas or Phillips. Lucky they didn’t see Paul Mahorn make his debut at Wycombe....

Could you imagine Paul Atkinson sat having a fag on the bench at today's BFC

Oh FFS.
The little ‘ol Burnley mentality rears it’s head, again.
Why do we feel the need to constantly revisit the ‘80’s? I don’t care what happened 30 years ago, it’s irrelevant. Why don’t we look even further back to the ‘60’s and ‘70’s, when we were decent?
It’s like a get out of jail free card that can be used at any time, to absolve the club of any criticism.
And yes, I was there in Division 4.

Because if the club behaved as some on here suggest and go for broke with money we could be back to the good days of the eighties PDQ
