Europa league 3rd round travel plans

Post by TiredJohn » Mon Jul 23, 2018 11:16 am

Hi guys it's me again, just wondering what everyone's travel plans are going to be for the next round after we beat Aberdeen?

Ill be looking to drive to Kazakhstan if we draw the side from there and split fuel with anyone who wants to join me on the trip. I don't have a full UK driving license but do have forklift and dumper truck license so happy to do the driving once we've crossed the boarder.

Going to have to really put the hours in at work to make the next round.

You daft bat, we can't draw Asian teams. The clue is in the name..... Europa League.

You'll be telling me that Israeli teams are in it next.

I am going to go with Accy Clarets. Leisure said he is running a bus to Kazakhstan with a stop off in Afghanistan as they have 2 weatherspoons!

Are you serious John? You'd need 3 days at least, driving to Moscow would be doable I guess but then after that there's still another day or so!! And that's only going!!

Tie a pair of skis onto the back of TiredJohn's car?

You would just be back for the second leg.

Dundalk has a ground capacity of 4500 so none of us might get tickets

You`re all the luckiest buggers alive! What an adventure! Don`t get too far ahead of yourselves though. IF we beat Aberdeen I hope (and you should to!) for a great trip to somewhere like Finland, Norway or Denmark then IF we come up smelling of roses after that, move onto France, Italy or Spain.

Wherever it is, soak it all up and have an INCREDIBLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Cheaper to book a holiday in Marmaris and get a train to Istanbul than to fly direct.
