The article states as well that we are wearing this kit to avoid clashing with Aberdeen - does that suggest to anyone that the 2nd kit would clash with all red......? Or am I reading between lines that aren't there:

"The all white kit, being worn to prevent any clash of colours with Aberdeen..."

I presume it means we will be wearing white shorts and socks from the home kit with the white shirt to avoid a clash. The need for a third kit is a Europa League requirement isn't it? If so that would explain why why would leapfrog the away kit and wear the third kit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the away kit was just a colour reverse of this third kit as we have heard it going to be black with white/silver.
