The FBI has raided the home, office and hotel room of Trump's long-time personal lawyer.
But it's probably nothing, right? The FBI does that all the time to the personal lawyers of sitting presidents.
Edit: Trump has called it "an attack on our country".

What a ******* moron.

I'll probably find it less funny when one of his idiot supporters decided to blow up an FBI building, or go on a shooting spree because they see his claim of it being an 'attack' as a call to arms. But for now it's pretty funny.

Which Trump's "drain the swamp" chanting supporters will be fine with, because hypocricy is one of their principles now.
It's gonna be hilarious.
You seen Trump's reaction to Manafort's bail being revoked because of his witness tampering?

No need to start another thread, i'm sure this is connected.
So it looks like Aaron Banks and Leave.EU was committing espionage on behalf of Russia. Actual espionage by providing Russia with confidential FBI documents

Russian involvement in Brexit/Trump is a comfort blanket to liberals like you, it couldn'tpossibly be that people genuinely wanted Brexit/Trump.

It's because some people are OK with treason as long as it advances one of their interests. Funnily enough these people will also call themselves 'patriots'.

Michael Cohen says Trump knew about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting in advance. He even approved of it.
For those who have forgot, Trump's campaign aides met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in order to receive information from the Russians that was stolen from the Clinton campaign.
I wonder if Trump's into triple-digits of scandals and stories that would have killed a Democrat's presidency. This alone should end his presidency, but Republican's are so politically invested in this now that they'll merely express their "deep concern" and then do nothing.

Cohen's lawyer says that Cohen isn't the one to leak this story. So this is most likely Trump's team leaking it in an attempt to undermine any deal Cohen might be trying to make with Mueller. Which is a pretty cool strategy.

Trump jr. to congress, under oath, testified that his father had no knowledge of the meeting. If this is a lie, and since we know that President Trump helped craft the response to the news of this meeting having happened, and that response was quickly proven to be a lie then it's not inconceivable that the President suborned perjury.
One way or another Trump is going to have to pardon his son for perjury to keep him out of prison. Or his own party will force him to resign with a deal to not prosecute his son for lying to them.
I'm trying to think of ways that this is survivable without either prison, pardon(s) or a resignation for someone called Trump.

All this is rather strange. They have been digging and grasping for years, yet still nothing concrete to go on. If they had you can guarantee Trump would be impeached by now. Seems like desperation now.
I wonder, out of interest, if there had been this type of scrutiny over Hillary, what they could have actually found...

This is what it looks like when you think that the Mueller investigation is solely targeted at the President's impeachment and not primarily about getting to the whole truth of the situation.
The right (and people like yourself) like to try to discredit the investigation by suggesting that because Trump hasn't been indicted, tried and count guilty yet then it must mean he's completely innocent and that the investigation is a farce. And if after several years of investigation all Trump can be impeached on is lying about a blowjob i'll agree with you. But i think we all know that's not what he'll be nailed to the wall on by the Mueller Investigation.
I for one am thoroughly entertained by all of this. Including the right's freaking out about the Mueller investigation, especially after decades of them investigating Clinton and finding nothing. Maybe that's why they're freaking out. They investigate political opponents for political reasons and so they think the Democrats are doing that now (even though it's a Republican in charge, appointed by a Republican, who himself was appointed by Trump). A thief thinks everyone steals.

You really believe this **** don’t you? You don’t think Hillary was subject to endless years of scrutiny and investigations, which were entirely politically motivated and turned up **** all apart from being slightly careless with an email server.
It did the trick, though, because if you fling enough mud some of it will stick and now ignorant folk like you (and approx half of all Americans) think she’s the devil incarnate.

Meanwhile, in real world USA, quarterly GDP growth of over 4%, continued progress in peace process with N. Korea and improved relations with Russia. It sounds like Donald is making America great again! PS I forgot to mention the imminent appointment of another proper Supreme Court judge. Rejoice!

Well Cohen can pay off all Trump’s affairs from "his own money" , remember? So I'm sure he can afford him himself. Lol.
