Hello everyone . . .
Hope you’re well, I’m the Sunderland fan who wrote that book. Was on here for a while but then football became too depressing!!
Well done on last season, that’s AMAZING. Good luck this season. What are your hopes??
I honestly am excited for this season for the first time in ages.
Can’t wait for tips to A.F.C. Wimbledon, Fleetwood, Rochdale etc etc. Don’t think we will go down again too.

Shouldn't you be getting acquainted with the accy board now?

Hello rejected - good to hear from you. I enjoyed your book.
It has been a tough old time for Sunderland but hope you can turn it around over time.
Obviously delighted with Burnley's season. Not exactly impressed with our recruitment so far this summer (well, we haven't signed anyone yet). My hopes are for 3-4 quality signings who are capable of challenging the first team. In terms of football to be played, I'd be happy if we finish mid-table due to our Europa League commitments. Would love a good European run.

If you think you've got it bad, you should speak to Sol Campbell

Glad you're feeling positive, if you have any ambition to join the " 92 " Club, then this is great opportunity to add to your list !
I too, enjoyed your book ! Keep well !

Rejected bud, good to have you back. I'll let the others fill you in what you've missed. Lets just say you haven't been introduced to the one and only rumpus yet

Hiya pal.
I listen to and like Mickey Gray on talk sport radio, he is positively optimistic about recent events at Sunderland (he's been banned from the Club in past, I believe for his views, What?)
We need Sunderland in the Premier league, it means that there's only two relegation spots left.

Thanks mate.
Yeah, definitely. I’ve seen Sunderland play at 106 grounds and 80 clubs. This season gives me another 6 to tick off!!

It’s called Rejected - basically over an 8 year period I applied to manage EVERY club in the country using joke letters. The book compiles all the letters I sent and the replies I received.
It’s available here!!

Yeah, there is optimism. We’ve sold more season tickets than in previous seasons and there is excitement. Over 23000 Season tickets says a lot!!
