Big screen relocated
Relocated to in between the Jimmy Mac and Bob Lord Stands.
Much better position and adds to the pre match entertainment for the majority of fans.
I'm hearing speech that I've heard countless times before pre-match, but finally I can now add pictures to the experience.
Will certainly help in identifying away players during the game too.

Re: Big screen relocated
I preferred it where it was, I can see it now.
There are going to be two when the work is complete.

Re: Big screen relocated
The relocation of the screen was the highlight of the afternoon for me and really added to the match day experience

Is one going to be in-between cricket field and James Hargreaves?ClaretTony wrote:I preferred it where it was, I can see it now.

For the fans in the most populated stand in the stadium I’d guess.Targetman wrote:Much better position for who?

Re: Big screen relocated
Don't know, was told one was going to go where the previous one was but no suggestions for the second. The one today was a temporary one, similar to the one we had at end of last season.CBT wrote:Is one going to be in-between cricket field and James Hargreaves?

Re: Big screen relocated
You’d like to think they’d have it at opposite corners so everyone can see, so corner of BL & CFS would be the logical place.
But logic & BFC do not sometimes go together unfortunately

Then no one in the Bob Lord would have flashing lights to keep them awake be able to see it.
Corner twixt CFS and Longside.
Re: Big screen relocated
I don’t mind the screen. My only gripe being the constant adverts, which seem to be on every time I want to check a player number.
Adverts and the like should be kept to pre match and half time. During the game it should be just the line ups and replays (which should be delivered much quicker than they are).

The only reason they have a screen is to run ads. You'll never see them not delivered during the game.DCWat wrote:I don’t mind the screen. My only gripe being the constant adverts, which seem to be on every time I want to check a player number.

It was the same one.ClaretTony wrote:The one today was a temporary one, similar to the one we had at end of last season.
Personally, I think they should just get two screens from adi.tv so they can run in coop with the perimeter boards rather than running the screens in-house and having the perimeter boards run by adi. Or, run the perimeter boards in-house too.

Re: Big screen relocated
I think they should put a screen on the back of every seat, like on planes.

Re: Big screen relocated
About time having it where it was previously meant that it couldn't be read by those in the Jhu
Re: Big screen relocated
Be great if they could put Judge Judy on during the game, with subtitles
Re: Big screen relocated
With the choice of other channels so one can watch something else if required? (2nd half yesterday)Funkydrummer wrote:I think they should put a screen on the back of every seat, like on planes.![]()
