Spoke to one of the Burnley officials upon entering the ground last Thursday and he told me they had sold 500 tickets up to that point.

no idea, Although I had a nosey on their website a few days ago and Burnley ticket sales weren't available at all. Doesn't mean theyve sold out - Maybe they sell em via other outlets.

Was it overrun? There were a few sat outside Kellys (?) and a few in the Swan. Looking at the state of the cricket field the majority must have gone to tesco and onto the there.

They will sellat least 1000. Theres tonnes of olympiakos fans in this country. Also plenty of red star belgrade and spartak moscow in london and they have a friendship with them. I know a few red star fans are going.

Heard 300 mentioned from Greece. But as has been said you can suspect there’ll be plenty here.

I think the Lancs. Constabulary might have a busy evening...

I saw Panathinaikos play in France a few years ago and did their fans make noise. They had the loudest firecrackers I've ever heard.

I don't think they will bother about our hostility see the link this is what they get when they go to Northern Greece.

Not sure if anyone noticed at Fulham on Sunday but there were loads of dogs there which, according to the signs, were there to sniff out flares and various other pyrotechnics. Wonder if there'll be the same at the turf tomorrow.

This is nothing

Never underestimate the power of 300 people singing “SEAN DYCHY CLABUAMI” as fast as they can for 27 seconds every 13 minutes.

Yes, was only in the pedestrian part of the centre and in the pubs up Yorkshire Street. Didn't go past there, I see what you are saying now. Didn't see any in the volunteer after either :D

The Olympiacos fans were terrific INSIDE the ground, what I have seen and heard outside dissapoints me quite a lot. I know one chap who was assaulted on the metro, and he is a genuinely nice bloke, never looking for bother and has watched Burnley for years and years all over the place. A senseless pointless attack. Not a bloke in his younger days by any stretch just pointless.
That said, I do know a few Greeks and have done for a while not just through this tie, who have all condemned their naughtiness in Athens.

I hope it's a great vocal night on the turf and all the muppets stay away.

If the Greeks do cause trouble, the least we should expect is an Apollo gy.

I hope they met UEFA regulations with regards to club membership and purchase history and have correct identification on arrival to our highly trained turnstile security. Would hate to have disgruntled Serbians roaming the streets of Burnley.
