The OP made an observation which was correct so why the need for the first reply is beyond me.

All the way thru the game they got behind their side and were the extra man if not 2.

Re: U.N.I.T.E.D
They had a good repetoire of songs... unlike us

Re: U.N.I.T.E.D
Had to laugh when they started singing England's no. 1 after Hart saved the penalty following the dog's abuse they gave him beforehand.

They are hardly intimidating songs....like something from a childrens birthday party.

That's because the tourists don't know or care about the songs.joey13 wrote:Not very vocal at Old Trafford

Re: U.N.I.T.E.D
We could sing about old players too perhaps Robbie Blake or Glen Little like they do with Solksjaer and Cantona... - personally I was bemused by it.fidelcastro wrote:They had a good repetoire of songs... unlike us

So only those singing are true fans?theroyaldyche wrote:Fantastic support today. Singin which we lack
Personally, I don’t sing because I can’t sing, I’m watching the game and I haven’t a f*****g clue what the words are. I can make out “...in our Lancashire homes...” but the rest is muffled noise.
And I have a view that if I’ve paid my hard earned pounds to watch people earning £30,000 a week to kick a ball, I should applaud their success not be a support worker.

Re: U.N.I.T.E.D
I'm feeling your pain lads. Not a good weekend by all accounts. It's not about the singing, it's the taking part.
I'll tell you something though fellas, I was singing blue murder at 4:50pm yesterday. Just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me and the Merc on the drive south.
Got back and watched Guy Martins Speed and it SORT of restored my faith in humanity seeing his passion for life on the track with big Jenson. Made me stop and think about this mortal engine we all share. The good will out, lads. The good will out.
