For those wanting the club to replace SD
For those wanting the club to replace SD
We sack SD and we become just another hire em', fire em' club like Leicester, Chelsea and Watford etc.
And what happens if it's clearly not working out with the new manager through no fault of either side?
Do we replace them as well?
How long do we give the new manager?

I wouldn’t use Watford or arguably Leicester as examples of hire and fire not working. They’re both doing quite well?

Aye Watford doing well and Leicester won the league.
Hire and fire? He's been here 6 years.

Enough said about the op’s statement and knowledge of the gamewickdkewlclaret wrote:I wouldn’t use Watford or arguably Leicester as examples of hire and fire not working. They’re both doing quite well?

Agree, the OP has demonstrated a lack of footballing knowledge in using examples of changing managers working in an attempt to demonstrate it not workingTurfmoor321 wrote:Enough said about the op’s statement and knowledge of the game

Aye yes Watford, finished below us in the previous two seasons despite changing the manager almost every season.

Correct. But anyone wanting Dyche replaced is a moron who's also out of touch!MRG wrote:Agree, the OP has demonstrated a lack of footballing knowledge in using examples of changing managers working in an attempt to demonstrate it not working
Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
So I presume there is nothing wrong with changing managers almost every season?

Agree we shouldn’t replace him but something clearly isn’t right
Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
How's it worked for Watford, or for Leicester since they won the league?MRG wrote:Agree, the OP has demonstrated a lack of footballing knowledge in using examples of changing managers working in an attempt to demonstrate it not working
Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
I don’t want him replacing ‘yet’ however I can see the concerns if you look at the last 25 league games, not just the results but also the style of play and the performance. Link that with his reluctance to change to a plan B and you can see why some are suggesting it’s time for a changebob-the-scutter wrote:Correct. Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
In that they are both solid premiership teams who can attract players and hold their own against top clubs season after season. That’s the main reasons if we are overlooking winning the league. I’m more interested in how it’s not working?Spijed wrote:How's it worked for Watford, or for Leicester since they won the league?

So how come Watford have finished below us in the last two years if they can hold their own against the top clubs season after season?MRG wrote:In that they are both solid premiership teams who can attract players and hold their own against top clubs season after season. Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
It will be from all the swapping and changing of managers I suppose, similar to Leicester and Chelsea (if you ignore them winning the title)Spijed wrote:So how come Watford have finished below us in the last two years if they can hold their own against the top clubs season after season?

Re: For those wanting the club to replace SD
I don’t want Dyche replaced. However something isn’t right, and I believe it is a confidence thing and it will take time to get over - and is fans need to back the team, not slag them off every 5 minutes. There was a bloke behind me having an orgasm every time Willian got the ball (he is good, but he is also the opposition!) and in the next breathe he’s berrating one of our players for being outplayed. I really did want to turn round and **** him one, but in the CFS I’d be ejected for that.

Maybe we need to "hire and fire" some of our so-called supporters.
