Brady
Brady
Fantastic second half today, and I thought Robbie made us click even better when he came on. There was a passage of play where around four give and goes between Brady, Taylor and Hendrick moving us from our penalty area to their penalty area that was just sublime to watch. He has a couple of wayward passes, but all in all, I think it was a great showing.

Re: Brady
We looked good coming forward at West Ham for the 20 or so minutes Brady & Defour were on together feeding Wood & Viddy.

Doesn't need to improve, just get that match sharpness and fitness back, but I know what you mean.beddie wrote:If he can keep improving then we have a chance, will just need a £20m striker in the window.
I also think Hendrick needs to start. We look better moving the ball fast, and although given room and time Westwood and Cork can pick out a pass, they both move the ball too slowly.
Re: Brady
Funny thing but put Brady on the field alongside Hendy and Hendy improves immensely...Colburn_Claret wrote:Doesn't need to improve, just get that match sharpness and fitness back, but I know what you mean.

Must admit I feel Defour and Hendrick in the centre with Aaron/Guddy/Brady perm any 2 from 3 outside them is my preferred midfield....
Any news on Defour limping off???

Re: Brady
I know what you mean about Hendrick and the whole team to an extent. I reckon a midfield and attack of this could challenge most teams:
Defour Hendrick
JBG Vydra Brady
————Wood
With Lennon, Barnes, Vokes all able to come on with JBG or Brady also able to play the no. 10 role. With all these players fit we do actually have a strong premier league standard team - which people need to realise.

Because you don't pick the team, perhaps?

Re: Brady
Guy at West Ham cost them £42 million. So, can Burnley make do with an "Anderson" with just 1 leg?beddie wrote:If he can keep improving then we have a chance, will just need a £20m striker in the window.
Yes, £20 million will top our transfer record. Just a little insight into the challenge.

But it’s one of our best teams and Dyche, like any sane person, tends to pick the team he believes best to win the match.dougcollins wrote:Because you don't pick the team, perhaps?

Hopefully we can flog wood to a championship team come January.....we'll lose some money, but he is crap! Offers nothing.

£15.000.000 is a lot of money. You really should be getting a return on such a big investment.Taffy on the wing wrote:Hopefully we can flog wood to a championship team come January.....we'll lose some money, but he is crap! Offers nothing.

Re: Brady
Only thing I ever question is why Barnes doesn't start every game. He is more complete than anyone else up front. Aggravates the other center backs. Who should play with Ashley though? Should be first name on the sheet for me

Re: Brady
Cork looked awful today. Was giving the ball away when he needed to bring it down to his feet and make a play. Defour wasn't much better before he got hurt. Our midfield needs to be strengthened.
