I have arrived ok.
Madge is on her way. Don't know where she is, but it is better weather than I have had, all the way up!
Let's get psyched up for the big match.
Up the Clarets

1 take on completed
1 chance created
1 shot on target
Tall order but I’m feeling ambitious.

Vydra will do well to be on the bench, if he's abroad.

I have no idea how Cork and Wood have managed to keep their places. I guess it's for the lack of better options. Mind you, Hendrick and Vokes are on the bench. Agree with Bardsley, Westwood and Barnes coming in though. Feel for Long - think he was one of the few putting in effort versus Palace to be honest.
Standard 4-4-2 so Liverpool won't be too surprised but hopefully our performance tonight will catch them off guard!

We've completely lost the plot.
On current form Wood should be nowhere near the team and yet he starts with Barnes who Dyche has cast aside for most of this season. Looks like a knee jerk reaction from someone who has no idea what his best 11 is.

Sporting of Dyche to solve Liverpool’s absence of Mané by playing Phil Bardsley against Origi.
Gobsmacked.

Gibson not even on the bench - hoped he would start ahead of Mee
Nothing to really think we have a better chance in the game but just shows how slow and static our squad has become

Barnes and Wood - excellent
Bardsley and Cork - not so good.
Mixed bag but I'm weirdly confident for this one.

I'm okay with Brady playing as he's been out for a long time and probably needs a run of games. Very useful for set pieces (not that we get many if we don't attack!).

OMG Wood is playing.
I will offer the following odds for anyone fancying a bet.
2/1 for a successful pass/ layoff/header
5/1 for 2 or 3 of the above.
10/1 for 4 or more of the above.
Any takers ?

Bit surprised Kev Long has lost his place.
Even more that Cork is still starting!
But hey ho! We'll just have to win like this!
