Re: Ali Kioki
We need players going to play at Football League level on a consistent basis, too often in the past kids have gone to the non league or sat on the bench for league clubs, for them to have a chance of making it all the way through the Burnley system to the first team squad they need games but games at a good level.utc1882 wrote:Went on loan to Swindon during january and is looking brilliant and could really help their push for the playoffs

Let's hope this is the start of something good for the younger lads and a sign of things to come.

He must be pretty well regarded to make our first team bench recently.
Loan and playing first team football will be good for him.
I think we seem to have a decent crop of youngsters coming through at the moment,

Have Koiki, Dunne, McNeil, O'Neill, Agyei, Benson all been in the first team or at least the sqaud on a match day now? If so it shows the youth set -up in a very healthy light.
Add to that Tripps, Mee, Tarks, Taylor, Pope & Keane and it shows us as a good club to come if you are a young player.
