However if you're suggesting that science teachers, and teachers in general have concerns about climate change, I'm sure you're correct.

You mean across the whole world? No. I'm not sure what your point it. Race-based privilege varies around the world depending on the demographics of the country/region. There's also gender-based privilege too, but that seems to be quite universally favoured towards men, sometime to pretty extreme degrees.
