Now I suspected your footballing knowledge was lacking, but this just confirms it.
Where did I say that?...
Take the time to show me where I said it...

I said Dyche has been doing similar or the same things and it gets over looked because he's English, he's said it himself in an interview the other year.

If you're going to argue about it at least take the time to read what I've said.

And they've conceded 8 more than us. With the cost of their defence compared to ours that is a very poor return.

They've scored 35 more goals than us though, and have a goal difference of +26. Ours is -1.

I'd say Klopp's system works pretty fine.

Works fine if you can outscore the opposition.

Works fine if you can outscore Man City after selling your star player

They didn't sell their star player, Salah is still there and Ox stepped in and they didn't miss Coutinho.

I doubt they will for the rest of the season either.

He's been an excellent player for them but one part of a system.

So do you still think Dyche invented pressing football using fit players, despite Klopp winning the Bundesliga months before Dyche even took charge of a team?

I didn't say he invented it either.

Is it not fair that Klopp is lauded for it WHEN HE WON A LEAGUE TITLE THAT WAY BEFORE DYCHE EVEN GOT HIS FIRST JOB

I don't even know how you can compare the to styles. It's completely different.

Liverpool are attack minded and want to take the game to their opposition as it their strength

Burnley are defense minded and want to sit and take opportunities if the arise.

That's why the goal against is different between the two sides.

Defensively they look weak yes. But that's why they've just spent £75m on a ch. But Klopp knows that they'll always be weak when they play so open and attacking. It's fine margains is football. Liverpool were pressing yesterday and it made City make several mistakes. On anotger day it could have been all so different.

Did I say it wasn't fair?
No I didn't, yet again you're making it up as you go along.

Dyche himself has said that foreign managers are being lauded for stuff he does aswell yet he doesn't get a mention.
Go and whinge to Dyche about it, he's the one who said it originally.

Klopp should be rightly lauded for applying gegenpressing to his Dortmund team, yes I agree.

I don't see why Dyche should get any credit for it though.

I disagreed with Dyche at the time. He can't claim to be this pioneering Englishman getting no credit when in fact he hasn't remotely come close to reinventing the wheel.

He moans about getting called a dinosaur because he gets his players fit. Klopp did that years before Dyche became a manager. Bielsa did it years before Klopp did it.

Surely Dyche can be seen as a pioneer when it comes to stopping teams getting clean shots, such as the way players stand in front of the corners of the goal, thus making sure any shots are straight at Pope, rather than in the corner. There has been some good analysis on this.

I can't recall another manager with the same attention to detail in that respect.
