There is only one race of humans and all humans are part of it. I know it's difficult with the term racism still being used but the idea of distinct races is scientifically inaccurate and a carry over from the moral **** "Scientists" in the 1800s who decided to use a colour coded system of human hierarchy which also fitted in nicely with their antisemitism.

Ethnicity is more accurate but we often try to over-simplify it. Most of us in Britain will be a mix of ethnicities as we've had immigration for centuries
German, Dutch, Danish (Angles, Saxons and Jutes) , French, Norwegian, Spanish...

The same with African ethnicity, many ethnicities that we try to bunch together as a "race".

The Jews and Palestinians are closely related genetically , more so than Palestinian Muslims are to Muslims from Asia.

It depends on which story you believe, but Israel is the place where the general consensus believes they originated from, go and have a read, it's quite interesting.

That's why the land is so important to them, plus they claim to be the chosen ones or something like that.

Judaism spread out from there through migration I believe, I don't know if they converted by the sword like the other two branches of the Abrahamic religious group, Christianity and Islam.

Converts etc can be applied to all religions, however to be one of the chosen you need the genome.

This isn't something that's applied to Islam because it isn't possible, same with Christianity.

Seems easy to understand to me. People who follow the Jewish faith are, in the main, descended from the 12 tribes of Israel and all have the same basic DNA. You can marry into the Jewish faith or you can convert to it but this conversion was never widespread, nor was it enforced so that basic genetic group remains the dominant factor in Judaism.
Christianity and Islam on the other hand spread out from the middle east through conversion, forced and unforced. It spread from one ethnic group to another, while at the same time actively suppressing Judaism. The followers of Judaism were spread far and wide in the diaspora and because of their general persecution kept themselves very much to themselves. Hence the dominant religions encompass many racial groups, whereas Judaism encompasses only one. Judaism is a set of ideals practised by one race, Islam is a set of ideals practised by a collection of many races.

Yes there have been converts etc, but it's still more of a race than Islam or Christianity.
