TBH I would be pretty p!55ed off if they tried to move us downstairs but I do think they need to start charging something for u10s.
Re: Leicester game - Ticket watch
It's a fair point. We started in there when my son was a youngster. I've no desire to move. We like our seats and the people around us. If we had to move so be it but would we not deserve good seats elsewhere most of which are already taken?Leisure wrote:And that's the reason why it's really not the family stand anymore. I can understand people who have been in there for years and their children have now grown up (and maybe don't even have a season ticket now) not wanting move out of there but that's the only way that new families will be able to get seats in there. It's designatged the family stand and to me that means adults and young children, which is not the case now. I've put my tin hat on!

If the JMU was to become a ‘family-only’ stand then would the other stands become adult-only?

Re: Leicester game - Ticket watch
The topic of getting into the family stand has been raise on a few occasions this season and if I recall correctly CT said it would be on the agenda at the next supporters meeting.
Now my nephew is 3 we have tried on a few occasions to get tickets in there but with no joy but I have a question.
Currently myself, my brother & dad (senior ticket) are STH in the JML and have been since it opened.
Now my nephew is here, if there was availability in the family stand, would we all be able to get in there?
The 3 of us have been going on together for the last 30+ years and obviously we all want to be involved in taking nephew on

You don't have to move just because you turn 18, my sister sat with us and is a lot younger than me.claretspice wrote:When you reached 18, until you started taking your kids on, by the rules should you have been allowed to stay in There? Genuine question.
What should be clamped down on is the abuse of the free tickets, if they're not being used then people should first be given a warning, and then be told to move. There's loads of adults without kids sat near me.

An adult can buy a season ticket on their own in there if he/she so wishes.claretspice wrote:It would be quite rare for someone to have legitimately had a ticket in the family stand since it was built though - don't you have to have an adult accompanied by an under 18?

Re: Leicester game - Ticket watch
The ground needs modernising but we don't need to increase capacity that much.
If we had a single tier stand replacing the Bob Lord and CFS (like at Stoke but maybe smaller) that would do it. Bung away fans in the corner, improve the facilities and have brand new dressing rooms so the players can come out of the new stand where the Bob Lord is.
Sorted.

Hi Wilks.
Not clear on this. CT did raise it with the club for me, as my Mrs wants to get an ST in the family stand with our 6 year old lad, but there were none available. I will let you know what the outcome is. Tbf to the club, they contacted me really quickly and said that they would look into it. Really good response tbf.
It shows that what goes on this board does actually reach the people at the club.

It’s not so much the transfer of stands I’m questioning, it’s whether or not the rules allow 3 adults to one child, when one of those adults is on a senior ticket
