I know it's easy to say, but I did fancy Higgins - but I find him a bit boring, so never actually wanted him to win. And the odds were rubbish, anyway.

I wanted Ali Carter to go further but I guess the cream rises to the top. Like you say - what a final. This has to go to the last few frames. It just has to.

Now you know why I don't bet any more.

I do think John Higgins' non snooker playing twin brother has turned up for him though.

Not taking owt away from Williams who started off like a house on fire. Then he looked as though he'd gone and was running on empty, only to then find another gear like the top players can do.
