Having suffered for nearly 30 years with back problems, including a couple of spells where i could just walk, and being on numerous forms of pain relief, some of which have completely knocked me out, I've never found myself acting like that.

One thing he reminds me of is being slightly tipsy, rather than blind drunk, having to concentrate hard on your footwork but then swinging to the over the top greetings.

He also reminds me of how my dad acted when when his movement just started to be affected by his dementia. Slight problems with movement, being supported, but greeting everyone as though nothing wrong.

Juncker may have been drunk.
Based on the evidence he COULD have been.
It also - as I pointed out - could have been related to his medication, but there are other possible causes as well.
(I know of one particularly sad case where a parent was accused of being an habitual drunkard and therefore an inadequate parent.
She had severe MS, but was made to prove it)
Now of course Juncker hasn't suddenly developed a condition like MS, but there are other perfectly plausible reasons for his apparent "drunkenness".
On balance I think the alcohol + medication is the most likely. They might (e.g.) have just changed or upped his meds. I was once almost totally zonked out for 36 hours when I took the wrong dose of medication and then had a couple of drinks.

I do find it hard to believe he has a condition that is causing cerebellar syndrome and he is still up and about attending NATO meetings.

Wasn’t he seriously p1ssed at some Geneva summit year or so back ? I’m sure he’ll come out with some invisible medical condition and a doctors note, though let us not forget this is the same man who while giving an interview about “not having a drink problem “ drank a bottle of champagne ! Marvellous stuff indeed but if a company exec arrived at a board meeting steaming he’d be sacked simple as that

While your having a think let's have a recap

So while were the subject let's have a little back at the loses youve suffered-

You said that you had "evidence" that ending free movement of people would not help to stop exploitation and people trafficking.

None came. 1.0

You had the "facts" that showed the referendum result was NOT the biggest single expression of democracy the UK has witnessed.

None came. 2.0

You tried to claim that we would not be leaving the ECHR . When we voted to Leave. Yet we never were!!!!! 3.0

You claimed that to be self deprecating you had to include "self" in what you were saying. 4.0

Then you posted examples of self deprecation to prove it!

Problem was Marty these examples included self deprecation that had no mention of "self!!!!!" 5.0

And to top it all. One of the best was a quote from someone called Marty!!!!!!     6.0

Then came your attempt to get a point back by mentioning election manifestos being binned!

But i pointed out they were once part of a live campaign and people voted on the basis of them. You are still able to simply look back and make a simple calculation of what percentage of the electorate voted for them. It doesn't in any way shape or form they will be enacted does it now.

7.0

This is just a small band of Burnley fans, with quite a few living out of the area.

But just for you and balance they should both be sacked. Just like any normal person in a normal job would be.

I think its hilarious that you and Ringo think living outside the area means we can't comment on Trump and Brexit.

Just how insular are you both?

Do you actually understand how daft it makes you look on here?

This affects the whole UK, and whether you like it or not you can't stop a discussion by pretending the world ends at Hapton.

I was explaining to Martin that most on here, if not most Burnley fans were Labour voters who would of been angry about the Tories handling of the Universal Credit story.

We had a long debate with Ringo about this some time ago.
There has never been a survey of Burnley supporters to ascertain what party they vote for or which way they voted in the referendum.

You're now hurtling down a rabbit hole of pedantry.

Some on here aren't prepared to accept like grown up mature adults that the folk that go on the turf reflect the population in general.

A population that voted to Leave. Vote Labour and support the Clarets

You're now entering into a dark world only populated by extreme Remoaners who will, at the drop of a hat get the verbal forensics team out a long with scalpels and put your every word under a micro scope. Instead of just accepting reality.

Don't say you weren't warned. Enter the twilight zone at your peril! ;)

I haven't a clue what percentage of Burnley supporters are resident in the Parliamentary division of Burnley and eligible to vote. (A lot of the posters on this forum (e.g.) are not Burnley residents, and reading some of their content quite a few appear to be still at school.)
And even if all Burnley supporters lived in Burnley there's no conclusive evidence of how that segment of the population voted.

Fair point but as already pointed out, the only indicator we could go off would be the town itself.

And I wasn't even referring to Burnley Supporters in general, just the ones who post on this board, which likely have a significantly bigger 'out of town' percentage than Burnley supporters in general.

Given that you are actually a Burnley supporter, you know full well what it is to be a Burnley supporter!!! When somebody asks the question.

And so when Lancaster claret asked the question- " Is there anything you lot actually know about Europeans lads?"

I was simply pointing out that ClaretMoffit and I, actually being Europeans ourselves, know a considerable amount about Europeans and what it is to be one.

But no, you had to get involved didn't you. Once again!!!

And no amount of moronic desperate tieing your self in knots, getting yourself all verbally legged up with "impled" "your statement" and the hysterical "false reporting" could get you off the hook you got yourself on!

So, latest updated score for the latest embaressmmt for you is

That's one saving grace for the remainer's, most of them are embarrassed about you.

I love your new-found martyrdom, it kind of suits you.
Enjoy your day.
and I'm the one ruining threads, you're making quite a habbit of this. Quite shocking for a man old enough to collect a free bus pass.

Why would we be embarrassed about someone who can string two sentences together?

Ringo is everything every Brexiteer claims no one who voted Brexit is.

When he's like this I'm inclined to believe he's actually a parody account he's that good.

Maybe for what he writes in them two sentences he strings together?

And nor is Johnson unique in that regard amongst British politicians, although he is the most embarrassing.

Johnson has of course modelled himself on Churchill, who is generally regarded as one of our greatest leaders, despite being half cut daily by mid morning during his greatest years.

So i think this thread might be a bit trumped up.
You have pictures and/or proof of Johnson being carried out drunk at a meeting have you. Or molesting a woman. If not your comment is just plain stupid.

Correct because they are allowed to do by weak politicians, who as I say may well become redundant after we don't leave the EU and the EU grabs more and more power.

This is just a small band of Burnley fans, with quite a few living out of the area.

But just for you and balance they should both be sacked. Just like any normal person in a normal job would be.
Burnley, like many northern town's and cities has a Labour MP. A very good one and a Burnley fan. But the town like many others voted for Brexit. Just shows what we all know really us that the establishment is way out of touch with these voters. Keri Starmer is a prime example. As for Campbell. Well he's just a complete prick

Not true, knobhead, if you were actually able to read, you'd know from recent dialogue that I'm not, in fact, old enough for a bus pass.
Yes, you are the one ruining threads but at least you do it in such a bizarre fashion that everyone laughs at you. A strange "habbit" to have, I'd say....
Is the season ticket still valid from the other side or is it back to you bullshitting in Wetherspoons this season.

Stay classy, kid.

It is well know having a bad back makes you march on the spot, slap peoples faces and compare silly ties.

Probably has the same doctor as Diane Abbot
