If you were an Ajax fan that’s got to hurt. Like sticking a finger in a gun wound!
All English (English clubs anyway) final, who’d have thought that not long ago! Wow. Football eh!

Ajax fans are something else. Intense atmosphere throughout. Stadium absolute rocking. To then lose like that and still clap the opposition off is incredible!!

well that shows a little immaturity from ajax...2-0 up 3-0 on aggregate and still trying to score....they only knew one way and it didn't include how to kill a game

Not only did they reuse last year's Roma plot for Barca, but somehow they are also trying to convince us that such a thing could happen 2 TIMES IN A ROW LITERALLY ONE DAY APART! What the hell?? And it's not even the first time this happened this season. Remember the ridiculous PSG plot, that was somehow resolved by a last minute handball. How stupid do they think we are??

Here we are Burnley, in the Premier League whilst potentially all 4 European finals spots are taken by Premier League clubs. This is why we love the game.

We beat the Champions League finalists

Weren't L'pool 0-3 down in the final once - and went on to win?

Exciting finish, whatever

EDIT: Istanbul final 2005, L'pool v Milan 3-3. L'pool won on pens.

What a great game. Naive from Ajax to try and score the winner rather than kill the game in the corner with about 30 seconds left.

Spurs have qualified for the next stage of next stage of the CL on away goals in 3 out of 4 occassions.

The reached the knockout stages on away goals against Inter.
Dicked Dormund 4-0
Beat Citeh on away goals
Best Ajax on away goals.

What is it with Spurs and the away goals rule working for them? *cough*League Cup*cough*

You've just got to hand it to both Liverpool and Spurs.
'Never say die' team spirit got then both through.

Wish I had a tenner on them both getting through prior to the games.

Pity they had to do it whilst the country is hoping to leave Europe.

One up for the Brits, eh?

Are the Dutch teams still denied automatic entry to the CL and have to qualify because their league is deemed too inferior? If so, Ajax did unbelievably well to beat the teams they did and come within 2 seconds of the final. I actually felt sorry for their fans as surely the ref just about had his whistle in his mouth.
