So presumably you thought my message/views were wrong and removed them? is that not going against what you just said?

peoples views on Kids trying to learn yes I do, and as you are such a supporter i thought you would too. First team and to some extent U23s yes, but please these are kids learning their trade getting judged as seasoned Premiership professionals, that might make a debate for those who cant see that, but to the actual players trying to learn and progress, the comments cause more harm than anything a coach can tell them, because at that age group they have an instant belief in the internet.

I removed your posts because they were demanding that I removed other people's posts. If you have problems with posts then you are within your rights to report them but not to start telling me, and the other mods, via a post that we should remove posts because you don't agree with the content. You don't seem to have grasped that but I will not remove posts because I, or you for that matter, don't agree with them.

Shame here, because you are ruining this thread.

I think that's Tremaine Eastmond. Not seen him or a few of the others play as yet. Just waiting for the fixtures to be released to see when I'll be able to get down to watch them this season.

It is Tremaine...... and if people think these lads lack technical ability, in a fitness focused pre season game, where they are in full time training with increased strength and conditioning for the first time, causing heavy legs and fatigue, I hope they'll get chance to see them when they play games when they are into match preparation, and admire Tremaine's obvious technical ability.

I think Zizkov is the rough diamond :D :D :D

I've not met Tony Philliskirk but generally I've found the academy staff really good and I'm not surprised they were so welcoming. Jon Pepper is out there I see and he was there last time when he was good with the few fans who attended.

I noticed he took quite a few of the dead-ball situations with some of the older lads deferring to him so he must be well-regarded by his team mates & staff, so look forward to seeing more of him. Is he any relation to the rugby player, Kyle, while we're on the subject of relatives?

Same sort of comments with the first team and under-23s, both of whom are still in pre-season mode. Steve Stone said this week that he'd worked them hard ahead of the game at Bamber Bridge, something you wouldn't do during the season. I just found it sad that they were commenting on kids at 15 and 16.

As for Tremaine Eastmond, he's one of the players I don't think I've seen play as yet. Always look forward to seeing the new recruits play as we start each season.

I hope Mike Rigg has sent someone to run the rule over the other teams too, it'd be good to keep tabs on promising players for future reference.

Everyone has diffrent views of there own that's what a message boards for to air your sentiments
Everybody has a diffrent sence off opinion and that's there right as long as it's on topic and not crass.
We all deep down love the club or we would't have signed up to the board it's that people see things in a diffrent light and get to passionate and it can obscure the picture there portraying wrong or right it's there view and can't go around deleting post just because you think it's wrong and your take on it is completely at the other end of the scale
I bet a lot of posters post if they read it back sometimes wish they hadn't written it
All depends on the mindset at times
Tony is very level headed and handles this board in a very unbiased way and that's how it should be.

The Czech had football academies in the old days of state funded sport and discovered some excellent prospects.
I find it quite worrying that we arent seriously scouting Eastern Europe as there is no doubt some useful players waiting to be discovered.
I assumed Mike Rigg would have been much more active in bringing in new talent.
Its early days yet for Mike but we seem to be suffering again in our recruitment

It's good that we entered this tournament and it must have been an excellent experience for the boys.

That is the key point to take from this.

It's fantastic for them, just as it was two years ago when we sponsored it. It's brilliant to see our younger teams getting on trips like this with the u23s also going to Poland.

It's been a tough tournament this year for the u18s, much stronger and older opposition than last time in the CEE, but they will have gained so much from it.

Aye, Palmeiras have been a cut above.

The lads are due to attend the Slavia v Olomouc game this evening ahead of a ranking game tomorrow, and then spectating at the final on Tuesday
