The online ticketing system was sold out yesterday
I was waiting for this morning but it had sold out might have been supporters picking tickets up from ticket office but i rang the club and all tickets had gone yesterday afternoon

Don’t they have some rail seating where they permit standing?

'...without saying it...' means they are not enforcing ground regulations.

The law states that persistent standing is not permitted...but all stewards at all clubs tolerate it - much to the annoyance of the many supporters who have paid for a seat and want to remain sitting throughout the match

If I pay for a seat I would like to use it.
If I pay for standing on the terraces I would like to stand on the terraces.
In Germany you can choose your preference for both home and away matches.
