Just the same as Pope. Kept them in the game today and much better distribution to boot.
Southgate will be thinking; why pick Pope when Pickford is better with his feet and just as good preventing goals.

Of course we know who the better keeper is, but that's what he will be thinking. I was hoping we'd bury our chances and make him look bad.

Despite our understandable bias there really isn't much in it between the two. If the decision is made on distribution Pickford gets the nod
