Out of the sides down there, we have looked the best so far. Watford, Newcastle and Norwich have looked awful, whereas we have thrown games away with occasional lapses at both ends.

Today was a rare rank performance. There is Covid in the camp, who knows which players have fought it off, and who knows if doing so costs a bit of energy. They played 65 hours earlier, an unchanged side (which Dyche was silly to do for that reason).

I think Wood was burnt out after the Olympics, other strikers have never scored a lot. Dyche’s flaws are obvious but haven’t changed, he has kept us up despite them for years.

Need:

a) reinforcements
b) playing in-form players
c) calmness
d) luck

Then we’ll be ok. I think we’ll get A and C. D we seem to always fail to get. B is a Dyche weakness.
Watford looking awful who have won 4 games already compared to our 1? Who won away at Everton convincingly & man United at home albeit under OGS, Watford have looked decent in patches this season far better than us it’s a surprise still in touching distance.

The problem we have is that unless Cornet plays we have little pace or quality to find a winner, thats the reason for all the draws.

Both Watford and Newcastle look far more dangerous and creative than us going forward, we have to rely on Dyches organisations to pinch the odd point here and there.

We really are in a mess and unless we can sign someone special in the window we are finished in this league

I tell you what is 100% down to Dyche

4 years of premier league football
Beating bastards for the first time in decades
European football
2 promotions and one championship trophy
Yes correct and he will forever be remembered for this, but that's history, present day (and the past season and half) is awful and he needs replacing

is it Mick Mccarthy or Neil Warnock who's plan B is just to throw on another striker? Dyche has adopted that approach it seems, zero thought.

Agree with all of that FCburnley if we can see it why cant Dyche, regarding Cornet he may have felt keep it tight to 0-0 and then give him last 25 mins id rather he'd start and maybe get our nose in front.
But we weren't ever tight, we were absolutely wide open, it felt like every time Leeds attacked they were 4v4 on the counter attack.

It's always been the same with Dyche. His Plan B is to change like for like. Yesterday was crying out for Stephens to come on and shore up that midfield.
