If you really think Everton were motivated yesterday do you believe they would have beaten any other side in the top six on that performance, or even got close?

Neville didn’t say the quote spurred them on or even words to that effect, he just said Lampard did well after his team was questioned - he’s not doubt pally with Lampard being an ex international team mate so it’s hardly surprising he’s going to big him up.
