Thank you, Sean
Re: Thank you, Sean
The most important thing for me is my son is now 13. I started taking him at 6. We now have three generations going on with my old man. The last few years have been brilliant, as a family thing home and away. Taking my son to meet his heroes at the kids parties. Contrast to my first game in 84. Without Dyche we wouldn't have the memories we have

Thank you Sean.
It’s been a fantastic ride. You arrived at Turf Moor after I left the country. The promotion year got us staying up till 4 in the morning, enjoying every minute, bringing the “old lady” back to Turf Moor.
A continued stay in the EPL, our club punching way above our weight. Other clubs jealous of our way of finding wins, and how not to lose.
Finishing 7th, making us the best of the rest. Only the self entitled “big six” above us. Amazing, something I never ever thought I’d see.
European football once again, and players in the England team with (BURNLEY) by their name. Never ever thought I’d see that either.
Wins at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, Emirates & Anfield.
There are lots of mitigating circumstances for our plight. Lots of stuff we know nothing of.
For myself, I was confident that in the championship with you at the helm, we’d be ok, and with substantial backing from the board, a promotion challenge within the next couple of seasons.
But not to be, I hate the direction Pace & Co seem to be taking us. It really doesn’t feel like our, the fans club anymore. Everyone at the club with claret in their blood seems to have jumped ship, are been pushed out.
Prove me wrong Pace & Co. I think you’ve made a massive mistake.
Up the Clarets.

Re: Thank you, Sean
I still feel a sense of shock and I've been struggling to put my feelings into words.
Results and performances haven been poor for a long time, and there was always a chance the new regime would be less forgiving than the previous.
That said I think the timing is all wrong. Dyche should have been given until the end of the season. A big discussion would have been needed, but I think he deserved the chance to rebuild and take on the Championship, for 6 months at least. He earned that right IMO.
Thanks for everything, Sean. You've given us some of the best memories we've ever had, and probably ever will have, as Burnley fans. The achievements of the last 10 years have been nothing short of remarkable.
In 30 years time people will still remember and will speak highly of Dyche and his time here. The same won't be true for ALK, who probably won't even be around in a couple of years once they've fled the scene and left a club in ruins.
Thanks again, Sean. One of the best we've ever had.

Re: Thank you, Sean
I agree with the above. the past 10 years have been the best i can remember as a Burnley fan. we have had an identity and a superb manager who has totally transformed all parts of our club. i appreciate times change and things get stale but SD deserved so much more than this. I'm afraid we are heading for the lower leagues again with a massive debt and the Americans will be off and leave us in the lurch.
