Worth noting too AJ’s bravery , last 3 rounds he was gassed , hurt , wobbly and getting hit constantly but he showed some real warrior stuff moving forward and throwing . Though he was reduced to simply trying to load up while soaking up the onslaught

Usyk was incredible. Joshua went for him throughout and did his utmost to flatten him. Just how he should fight the smaller man.

However, clear winner on points.
Joshua appeared to be conned by his corner, into thinking he was winning rounds, when he clearly had not.

The defeat appeared to be a surprise to him!

His behaviour deteriorated thereafter. OK being gracious when you think you have won but not when you think you have been robbed!

Nothing after that was any credit to Joshua. Appalling behaviour. It does show Tyson Fury to be the real gent and best behaved!!!

Fury would flatten both of them. Usyk would take time to catch!

Don’t blame AJ, blame his team who let him go back into the ring and take the microphone. Having a big professional prize fighter trying to separate your head from your shoulders for 36 minutes can have a detrimental effect on your thinking.
Agree with this. I'm in no way a Joshua fan but you've got to cut a bit of slack for how people behave immediately after losing in a tough sporting contest like that. He should've been ushered away.

Boxing especially so but I'm also wary of footballers/rugby players/ cricketers who have just lost a big match being collared as they leave the field. Can you expect anybody to be at their sensible/ articulate best at these times?

AJ did far better in this bout, but Usyk deserved to retain his titles.

Fury-Usyk now?
