I’m listening to the Blackpool comms on ifollows stream and everytime we pass it back to Muric the commentator says “chance for Blackpool”

Fantastic football there, Vitinho should make it 4

Just to make it clear, that entire move came from Muric

Getting a bit hairy at the back here at times, but on the flip side we look deadly going forward today.

It worked well that time, RV - it took three players out, but midway through the half they pressed with four and we didn’t really take advantage, we were slow. But heck, this is just game five

Yup and we should have had an entire goal from it.

Poor finish from Vitinho.

Said before, Muric and the team need to learn when to just get rid - their goal clearly one of them.

Excellent half some really good football.

Interesting to see a tweak to the system today with Cullen dropping into the back three in the build up, with Tella playing in and around Jay Rod. It’s also allowed Roberts to show what he can do further forward. Brownhill has been outstanding that half as well.

Today we look lethal. Tella has been outstanding. A few shaky moments at the back, but they are pressing us well, that said it is stretching them doing this and creating space. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Really enjoying the game.

The only chances Blackpool are getting are the ones we are giving them. Muric looks dodgy as f*ck trying to play it out.

He just needs to put his foot through it when there's no pass on, mix it up like we have first half, all 3 goals have come from long passes.

We should add a H to Tellah"s name and that would be an anagram of lethal.

They have to distinguish between a chance to build up to the midfield, and times of danger , when a foot through the ball is best.
Hopefully that'll come in time, but we'll concede a few in the meantime.

Really enjoyed that. Our movement is brilliant. Constantly rotating. Expressive, instinctive, but disciplined. And that sort of thing can only get better.

As with all the other games so far, miles and miles the better side. Haven't seen a side yet to be worried about.

Not being able to watch the game and the fact we seem well in control I'm curious as to how the lad Jordan Gabriel looks against us today ?

If we go up, I don’t see why not. It’s highly unlikely he’ll break into the City team, literally got to be one of the best in the world there :D

Until his collision with Tella, I didn’t even realise he was playing.

Another plus to all this new look Clarets, is we've not fully bedded in yet, as a team.
Easy to get carried away with things, imagining what we could achieve, once the players really start to gel.

Now that's what I call a 1st half display, the big difference today is we've been clinical when the chances arrived. 3 shots on target and 3 goals.

Tella is going to be some signing on this evidence.

More of the same 2nd half please lads.

Exactly. Not only in attacking phases but also when the keeper and defence are in possession and working out the right time to play it short and long. Exciting times.

Turf Moor in the sun. Loads of Claret and blue shirts about, looks about packed too and a 3-1 lead at half time against one of our Lancashire rivals. Great stuff. Roll on that second half, reckon we could get 5 or 6 here if we carry on the way we have.

When we sort that out it’ll calm things down, but as it stands it’s a real stick or twist for the opposition - press hoping that you possibly get your only chances from it, or back off because you want to be ready to low press us

Interesting that Ashley Westwood is witnessing the spectator view of this shenanigans in the commentary box. Might be something he can take into the dressing room

Most definitely. I do think he will learn when to just lump it as we develop though and we will get used to it happening without causing us all heart attacks.
