I wish Benson would attack the full back more and get more crosses into the box
Would like to see him on the left. Least he's not disappeared from the game like he did at Watford

We just need to pick up the tempo and avoid free kicks and corners (like that)

Well, I think we’ve been excellent.

It genuinely looks like a cup game between a Premier League side and a League One team. They have had one chance, a bobbling just over the line header from a corner.

We need to continue exactly as we are doing and we will get what we deserve.

He will be limping shortly

We have to learn to deal with the physicality of this league. Muric clearly at fault for the goal. Has had nothing to do again but still manages to concede. Cork outstanding so far

well of course, which was kind of my point. The TV camera couldn't show it accurately, yet the goal line tech was working well - there was a discrepancy on the TV shot
I want to see this again.

It’s already failed once this season. Let’s take a good look at the actual footage rather than the virtual recreation.

I’m very suspicious about this until I see something conclusive.

Sorry VK but a blind man on a galloping horse can see we lack height in the team. We'll be susceptible from corners/set pieces all season long unfortunately and the league has cottoned on already. The possession game is all well and good and very pretty but darn useless if you can't defend corners.

Good going forward. Some filth from them. Bit unlucky on the corner. We've looked more solid as the half as gone on. Just set pieces to worry about. Would like to see Tella ten yards further in, he feels a bit wide.

We are much better, but I feel we let the tempo drop a bit after scoring. Benson should be doing more - could be a chance for Zaroury to impress on that side.
If Benson had looked up when shooting high and wide, he could have played to Jayrod who was calling for the ball in the centre

Could do with moving forward a lot quicker , but didnt think there would be goals in the game now just need us to score more than they do .
Need to get more into the area when attacking .
Lets see how we get on in the 2nd half .

Hmmm personally think Benson has been quite bright and created several chances. Did miss the pass to Jay though as you said.

Muric needs to take control of crosses but he just stays rooted to the spot. Preston are poor but still causing us problems

Just falling to wrong people when an attempt is on. Roberts for example

Jus need to get at em more in final 3rd. Be lucky if they get another shot

I don't care on the ''debate'', there isn't one. He was superb at WBA, he slipped for the goal tonight, not his fault. Why does there always need to be 1 player targeted relentlessly?

Roberts has been class for me, popping up all over the pitch, very unlucky with the header! Benson bright in short spells. Jay and Tella could do better, feel PNE are doubling up on those two though!

I was very dubious about Muric after Blackpool - but his performances since have been first rate. I needed to allow myself to accept the risk taking, once you do accept it, you see the value he gives.

He will give goals away, but I’d say at this point I’m willing to say it’s the system and not him. Kompany knows full well Muric will cock some of his kicks up, that’s the risk/reward of it. The reward was shown to devastating effect against WBA. I’d give him benefit of the doubt, certainly tonight thus far, it’s just a slip.

What is the point? We are Championship now, with Championship level players (Exciting ones IMO).
Our best PL players would obviously shine in the 2nd tier.
