Need to up the tempo, every game now we start so slow we allow the opposition far too much time to regroup and get behind the ball.

11 men behind the ball for Stoke, so was always going to be difficult. We score 1 in this game, we'll go on and score more.

In any game we’ve played this season, I cannot remember the opposition keeper having to make any worthwhile saves. We have no end product.

Haven’t really threatened though. Lots of build up, not much in the final 1/5.

True. But I’d rather watch this than the tripe we saw in SDs last 2-3 years.

Better in the first quarter, but a few misplaced passes towards the end of the first half. Decent half though, and Stoke just look very happy to defend for the draw.

not a great half.
Tella hardly involved.
We are clearly the better side technically, just need a bit more movement up front.

A pretty drab first 45 really.

We need to up the tempo in the second half.

Decent first half, playing pretty well but its gonna be frustrating when teams come and park the bus. Just need to keep doing what we're doing and Stoke will start to tire and give us some chances.

“This is the worst Burnley side I’ve ever watched” might get an airing soon

That first 45 minutes they clearly were passing to the side to try and move Stoke across and find spaces.

Frustrating again so far. Our best efforts have bene shots from distance.
At times I would like to see us go just a bit more direct, Kompany needs to realise we aren’t Man City and we don’t have the players yet to make this way of playing effective. Benson needs to get crosses in and use Roberts, Stoke are there for the taking.

The only reason they have everyone behind the ball is because we don't counter at pace when we have the chance,it's all our own doing, overplaying needlessly

Cant see how anyone can say its good to watch. I'm all for the theory but it's worthless without end product and other than the odd spell in a few games we haven't improved much at all in terms of creation.

We need to stop the sideways and backpacking too slow in attacking. Stoke are very slow st the back and we need our pacy players to step and take chances
Anything less than a win is unacceptable

Seems pretty clear why we're sideways passing - Stoke are defending pretty well through the middle.
