He was on big money at Leeds, £11 million a year I think it was towards the end.
Everton are a basket case club at the moment.
I think when you see some of the things Bielsa did at Leeds and the power and control he had in the club I would not be surprised if Everton could not meet all his demands - not just his financial ones.
Everton don’t seem to have a 12 month plan let alone the long term project Bielsa would have wanted. He doesn’t strike me as the type of manager who will just take any old job - and certainly not one just for the cash.
Not saying Dyche would take any old job but think he is was ready to take a job in the Premier League - and this one gives him a chance of keeping a team up and then a summer to put his stamp on them (and then obviously sacked by Christmas !!)
