I didn’t watch it - what happened?
Basically he threw a tantrum in the centre circle (after Liverpool’s sixth I think) because they brought on Elanga for someone else.

This after he’d been skinned moments earlier by Salah and just let him run away unchallenged.

Stan Ternent would be reading his name on the radio now, if he was United manager

Fernandes has replaced Richarlison as the prick of the PL.
After a decent first season he’s just become a pain in the arse.
He is also the worst for not passing to WW when he is in a good position.

Gave up at 4-0

Mind you, United should have shut up shop at 4-0 but they kept attacking and leaving themselves wide open at the back, so the 7-0 was avoidable

Bit of a reality check for every team that is on a very good run and suddenly forgets that hard work and organisation are the key

Big test for Erik ten Hag now after that pathetic display by Utd, and things had been going pretty well for them, won the Carabao, progressed in Europe and the FA Cup,

It's not the defeat as many sides can lose at Anfield, but it's their 2nd half collapse that was so shocking, be interesting to see who lines up against Real Betis in the EL,

And Fernandes surely can't keep the captain's armband after his petulance today.

Weghorst’s goals to games ratio in the PL was better at Burnley than it is at Utd

Papabendi who sometimes come on here was in the United end at Anfield.

He told me it was utterly deserted by 80 mins.

I'd file it under an off day as you say things have gone well for them recently, footballers are not that much different to joe public you get days when you go into work & you just can't be arsed doing anything effectively & that's what happened today, Liverpool could be arsed united couldn't on another day it goes another way it's that simple.

Results like this can really derail a season in a big way.

Massive couple of weeks for Ten Hag and United - I don’t quite think I’ve seen capitulation like it

I’m guessing all Sky pundits are contractually obliged to not mention anything to do with football from before 1993.
Thought that's when 'proper' Football was invented? ;)

An off day is one thing, but I doubt Utd fans will see it that way when they've shipped 7 at their bitter rivals.

Their reaction is the key if they react and deliver a positive result in their European game they can probably put this embarrassment behind them.

It's not a surprise that Liverpool won, but I doubt anyone would have predicted that 2nd half United meltdown.

A bit like Burnley at Bramall Lane where we collapsed 2nd half, however we responded brilliantly, and with the players in that dressing room Man Utd should be able to do likewise.

Even under Fergie they had the odd heavy defeat but they didn't let it affect them in the remainder of the season.

The bizarre thing is despite this big victory Liverpool will win nothing this season, while Utd already have a trophy to their name, so come the end of the season Utd will have enjoyed the better campaign overall.

Good to see "local" Liverpool "fans" give their reaction after yesterdays 7-0 win in the soccer match! ;)

United fans have to forget about it there's no other choice, it happens in football it happens life, sh1t happens & you just have to move on & forget about it, some people are just desperate to make something that isn't there, it's the weekend football headline had Leeds beaten Chelsea ramping the pressure up on potter not half as much would have been said about this because some people would have had something else to discuss, if united finish in the top 4 & falter in Europe it's still a successful season for them make no bones.
