Could Wout be the next Ashley?
Re: Could Wout be the next Ashley?
I'd take any striker thats started nearly every single game for a top 6 club, we'd be bonkers not to

He could be the next Ashley if his ego allowed, but he won’t be.
6 months at United will give him ideas above his station. He’ll be pushing for a move and we should take what we can and run for the hills!

No thanks.
Not sure we can stand a striker in the PL, who doesn't score goals in the PL.
Telling that he's been dropped again for the now fit Martial, who promptly scored at the weekend.

I think Wout is a better player than people give him credit for, and I also think he'd do a decent job linking play in this system. The big problem for me is that he's not mobile enough to play deeper and also score in the PL and a non scoring striker is not what a newly promoted side needs.

I think we will need to play on the break at times, speed up front will be an essential part of it.boyyanno wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 4:38 pmI think Wout is a better player than people give him credit for, and I also think he'd do a decent job linking play in this system.
