And you can see why Luton dropped the most points from winning positions in the league…

Gyokeres made that goal.
That’s what he’s about. Channel running on transition and intelligently using the ball. It’s why he has 11 assists this season.

7-10 shots on target

Coventry had 1 when Luton had 10 - this game has properly shifted

Listening to the Talk sport commentary, first time ever(!). Sam Mattaface much better doing radio commentary, in fact I’m pleasantly surprised. I think having to describe the action means he’s got less time to think, certainly less irritating than some of the nonsense he speaks on tv.

Impressed with our lad , so far he’s handling the big Luton threat better than the other 2 Coventry defenders who were beaten continually in the air in the first 30 mins.
I hope we keep him!

I think he's the best striker in the league. His channel running and hold up play is outstanding. He can take players on, link the play, create for others. He's fast, tall, strong...

Still only 24

I'd be amazed if someone doesn't offer £18m+ for him

The 3 matches have ended 2-2, 1-1 and 1-1 at 90 minutes.

Shows how closely matched they are.

Just enjoying the game. Prefer either of these two to Boro or the Mackems. Expecting penalties.

Seemed a bit like Luton’s half time team talk was to not concede at all costs, and when they did the game plan was done. Could go either way now of course.

It’s because of the size of the Wembley pitch. Apparently it’s about twice as big as a normal one.

Championship play off finals tend to be tight, turgid affairs. There’s so much riding on the outcome.

Just look back over the results of the last 20 years. The majority of games are low scoring and won by a single goal.

I suspect both sides will struggle next season, as most play off winners do. However, using this game as any kind of barometer of quality is harsh.

It’s a typical Championship play-off final. So much at stake and it’s all about trying not to make mistakes. A long time since I can recall seeing a good game.
