Such a difference having a fast bowler in your side.

Shame we haven't got Wood & Archer

I was just starting to think it could be a 350-3 sort of day.

It's easy to start thinking we've made a dramatic improvement in our bowling attack.

It's about the pitch...on this one there's plenty for the bowler who gets it right, whether that's at 96 or 78 mph.

The last 2 corporate wickets had nothing for any bowlers and but for abject batting errors both would have ended in dull draws.

Can we go back and get the dull draws? :D

I'm really not sure when we're going to learn. Doubling down on a daft selection is about the strength of it.

Bairstow takes that catch and Australia are 60 for 4 now.
Not an easy one but you back Carey and Foakes to take it.

He got fingertips to it off an inside edge.

If he managed to cling on to it, it would have been his best catch ever.

I would back Carey to catch it as he's left handed.

More hopeful of a right hander than expectancy.

Bairstow mistakes have arguably lost us 2 tests so far. He’s well on his way to losing us a 3rd

How on earth has anyone involved with English cricket come to the conclusion that Bairstow is the only option behind the stumps?

Utter stupidity having him there.

First test 1st innings - Bairstow 78
First test 2nd innings - Bairstow 20
Second test 1st innings - Bairstow 16
Second test 2nd innings - Bairstow 10

I am glad we take the hit on Bairstow's poor keeping for all these vital runs he has scored :?

100% this.

Bairstows not going to refuse to play. It's just a stupid old pals selection. If you don't get that, sorry but you don't understand cricket.
