Not really. For a start you're overstating the word 'legend'... And there's nothing more cringey than calling Tarkowski "Tarko".
I have to say I've been trolled on nomenclature by someone using the moniker Fidel Castro: the shame of it!

But I don't think that Ray Hankin or Steve Kindon are club legends but they meant a lot to me when I was a kid and still do albeit both left the club.

But fair point Fidel given your standing in the universe I accept Mr Tarkowski is not a legend in comparison.

Who are you calling yourself after? Tony Philliskirk?
I've noticed that you didn't answer my question about the Bristol City fans and Josh Brownhill.

That's because I wasn't there, so I don't really care.

I applauded Dyche at the start, as we all should

I also applauded McNeil by the Bob Lord in the second half just as a quick gesture of appreciation and to combat the mindless people who were booing him.

I must've missed the part where the Turf was such a cauldron of passion and feverish support for this to be an embarrassment to some on here.

If anything it alleviated the boredom of seeing Beyer and O'Shea pass to each other for 5 minutes when we were 2-0 down

Yeah, sorry, I've only been to over 100 football grounds watching this team in my time. You'll have to forgive me for having other commitments.

As for yesterday, I honestly believe some in our end would have cheered if McNeil had scored

So you are equating polite applause (which happened one time only in each half btw) to them wanting Everton to score?

It is called respect, nothing more, nothing less

I'd call it embarrassing, but each to their own.

I gave McNeil a very small, polite applause as he came to take a corner in the JM/BL corner and wasn’t in the least bit embarrassed. Apologies if this has caused others to feel embarrassment though.

I think it would be an understatement to say you are in the minority on this thread! :D

And he abandoned Guevara to a miserable death in Bolivia.

We used to sing 'you'll always be a Claret', so Fidel should be grateful that we didn't burst into song for the 4 of them.

Particularly relevant when they played badly against us ;)

Yes you are right about that, I bet several posters on here haven't done Turf Moor!
