The Berge transfer must be further along than we were led to believe if he is not included.
He and JBG only returned to full training a week ago and neither included.
Although in Berge’s case that might be a convenience.

I spoke to some Bolton fans recently who said in his first season he was weak in the area but came back stronger the 2nd season and was brilliant. They are confident he’ll be England No.1 one day
It didn't look that way last season. He really struggled with any aerial presence and decision making. Obviously some of that was on Kompany, but Luton will be aware of those weaknesses and will look to exploit them. I hope he has found his confidence and bounces back tonight.

Who is our Keeper coach nowadays. Just wondering if we've gone for a British coach with a change of focus towards traditional keeping which would probably help Trafford at least in the short term

Anyone know who the bloke commentating on the hundred is, tonight. Sure he just referred to Burnley as the super clarets, on their charge back to the premier league, when announcing the change of channel for the cricket.

Come on yooooooooou Clarets. Off to a local Irish bar in Spain on holiday. Went to the same bar to watch us play Huddersfield in the opening game two years ago. Hope I am as wowed tonight as I was back then.

Sky sports main event got it on UHD. They just handed over from the cricket, and the cricket commentary said the mighty clarets and their charge back to the premier league lol.

Omg Trafford starting a that’s a disaster. I was buzzing for this and that’s popped the bubble now. I thought he was half out the door. We will concede at least 1 or 2 now with that kid in goals.
Disappointed to see him in the net... but we'll see...

Sky Sports anchorman just said that Luton Town are hosting the team he thinks will be favourites to win the Championship this season. He followed that by saying he means the "mighty rip-roaring Super Clarets of Burnley". Tony Livesey or Jordan North couldnt have done it better!

Couple of unfortunate (injured?) absences and one surprise on the bench but a very decent looking team/bench. Hopefully good enough to get 3 points but I suspect Luton will set off fast and furious.
As we found last season, Luton will battle for every ball.

Trafford needs a Burnley player stood in front of him to stop the attackers pinning him on his line. Something Kompany did very late last season. Vitinho was in that role.

People getting giddy. Yes we look like a really strong team there on paper, although injuries are preventing us picking our absolutely best XI, but Luton had a decent season in the PL, they haven't had anything kind of fire sale, they gained from the experience and are no one trick pony. This is going to be bloody tough.

Luton YouTuber thinks both teams will score and he went 3-2 to us. I like the starting line up and lots of talent on the bench. Parker seems to be going for what he considers to be the best team. Very positive and attacking. We will see. Luton have injuries especially in defense Let’s go

Clean slate for all. Back the team, back the manager.
Trafford is a decent keeper and has lots of potential. Class season was a step up too soon. A season in the championship will do him good.
Wout is a burnley player and a good one at that. He’s here, he’s in the squad.

Having Koleosho, Foster and Odobert in a starting lineup at this level with Benson, Zaroury and Weghorst on a bench is possibly the craziest set of options you could imagine for a Championship side.

The bench shows that the English home grown players in this league needs to be kept an eye on. If we keep this squad (highly unlikely) it’s going to be one massive juggling act

The key to this game is can Roberts jump high enough at the back post. Unless O'Shea follows the big un.
