2024/25: Oxford United v Burnley – Ticket Information

Just been in the ticket office now to collect mine, apparently it's 1 of a few tickets that Oxford have not sent over and their working on it, ticket office have said they will let me know as soon as they have it. Got a horrible feeling this won't arrive, TO saying its definitely on the system as having purchased one, strangely I didn't receive the usual email confirmation after purchase, we will see.

Mine hasn't arrived as yet. I phoned the ticket office this morning and was told the last lot went out Monday afternoon and I should have it by Friday.

They said exactly the same to me about my Wolves tickets, this after initially telling me they’d posted them. Then I went in and they were telling someone the same story regarding their Leeds tickets.

So that’s three clubs they claim who have randomly not sent over a few tickets.

While I was in there (it was the day before Sunderland) a friend of mine came in and told them he still didn’t have his Sunderland tickets. He was told they had been posted. He had to collect represents at Sunderland but almost four weeks later, they still haven’t arrived.

I've been told they'll contact me as soon as they have news/arrive, I'm not holding my breath. But I will be back in the ticket office on Friday.

I also called at the ticket office on the Wednesday before the Sunderland game because my tickets hadn't arrived.
The young woman who I spoke with insisted they had been posted the previous Friday, they still haven't arrived!

It would be interesting to know how many go missing, and when they do, is it the same people?
I'm involved with around 20 fans, who in varying numbers, order tickets for every away game. We have never not had the tickets arrive
If it's the same people maybe it's a database error that requires attention?
As a rider, the postal system is horrendous

There were over 200 queuing for re-prints at Sunderland. As horrendous as the postal system is, that’s just not acceptable.

It's perhaps a bit too soon for Oxford tickets if they were only posted on Monday, you might still have a chance

Not Burnleys fault, and plenty of time to sort it, Oxford maybe don't have digital turnstiles, but some that do, still insist on sending out paper tickets which is weird, in an age when you can use your phone to pay to go for a pee.

Very strange that Wolves, Leeds and now Oxford have missed some tickets. They must have got mixed up with all the Sunderland tickets that our ticket office will have you believe were posted.

Collected my ticket this morning, not the original seat I was allocated but they've seated me somewhere, wasn't straight forward, may be I'm on a stand chair on the car park. Gave me an explanation, not sure it's correct.

Can tell you thats correct, Ive had an email from the ticket office saying my tickets are being relocated from where they originally were.

We got ours moved at Birmingham two seasons ago and found ourselves in the disabled area.

I’d just tried to ring the ticket office about my 4, i was 5th in the list it got down eventually (15mins) to second and then it went sorry nobody to take your call please leave a name, issue and number for us to get back to you.

I certainly wouldn't be leaving it until 5pm on Friday as all you need is for them to not answer the phone and you'll be struggling

Precisely what I said! Response: “Oh no, we always have someone around for emergencies”. If they’re not here by Friday post arriving I’ll have to send my Dad in (I live 90 miles away). Frustrating and slightly baffling.

Just home from work, still no tickets here. This and the Sheff Wed debacle where I struggled to get a concession ticket and then placed in a queue for the phone and forced to leave a message.

Maybe I’ve been lucky, but in 50+ years of following the Clarets I have never had problems with a ticket before. What is really surprising is the range of advice people seem to be getting from the TO. I went in on Saturday and clearly none of the staff on duty had been briefed about the issue. I was told to wait until Friday and email them so they could get Oxford to do a reprint. The fact that there have been issues for a number of games points to a systemic problem and that is not good enough.

I've never had a problem with ticket's or the ticket office before, I don't have them posted out I always pick them up but for these Oxford tickets I'm still waiting for them to arrive at Burnley football club.

I was told last week in the ticket office a small block over two rows haven't been sent and the figure was 124 ticket's. I was told at the time these were promised by Oxford they will be sent out at the back end of last week and to make sure I don't have a wasted trip leave it until Monday.

I went down mid afternoon and they said nothing has arrived yet, the lady in the office said when they get them Tuesday/Wednesday they'd post them out, I said not a chance I'm risking that because knowing my luck they'll land at 11am Saturday morning when I'd be almost in Oxford, I was told keep trying and if there not here by Friday I could pick them up in Oxford ( what a joke) I asked why should I keep having to pop in (luckily I can) when a simple media announcement would work better and keep us informed, her reply was the media side was nothing to do with her she works in the ticket office

Just rang the Burnley ticket office instead of keep calling down and was told the missing tickets have been sent from Oxford and are guaranteed to be at Burnley by 1pm this afternoon, all tickets will be posted by the end of the day and should be with you no later than Thursday unless you opted to pick them up

I really don't understand why,, after it being realised last week that some tickets hadn't been received from Oxford, we just didn't send someone down there by car to collect them???
