Just read this thread and think Jakubclarets suggestion that all charitable causes should operate with no paid employees is, in a strong field, the single most ridiculous opinion I have ever read on here. Genuinely astonishing.
There have been others, but in this case if his suggestion was to be accepted, it would create more suffering worldwide than any of the previous mad cap suggestions on here, which is some achievement

Support workers are left to it after an afternoons induction I've done it! I was dishing out diazepam & alsorts after just 2 hours in a classroom.

Another day on planet jakub

There are times when it feels those 2 hours in the classroom are the only 2 hours you ever did. Unless you kept a stash of the drugs you were dishing out for personal use.

Imagine taking to a Burnley message board to slag off someone who's just raised millions for charity.

Absolutely pathetic, should be ashamed.

I'm honestly not sure whether some folk on here are special needs and need some sort of supervision while using the internet, or literally just horrible people who the world would be better without.

It's disgusting

It’s a shame one of the usual ‘look at me’ posters has derailed a thread about one of the increasingly few good things left in the world these days.

It may be fine a loved one being looked after by untrained relatives but could open up a can of worms with assisted dying being brought to the forefront at the moment.

And in Jakub's world we'd get to choose the method of execution to rid ourselves of these people too.

Just look at the first page to see which two posters started it.
Completely overtaken then by the mad man.
These people are allowed to walk among us - and vote!

If Children in Need money raised helps little children like this then it does good.
I've never new such evil could be inflicted on a child. In this case jail really is to good for them.
RIP the poor little girl.

Interesting that it's Labour who are bringing in a compulsory register of the 120,000 kids not in school, looking at the reasons and insisting on school attendance for any referred child or child from a family under scrutiny.
Has the problem just developed in the last few months or was this yet another issue the Tories quietly ignored?
If they did, they've blood on their hands .
