We have made the best defensive start in history after 20 games. So only a fool would change the 6 positions most involved in that including Cullen. I can see the argument for improving left back, but that is it. We have the same points as in 2022/23, so Ok we won’t win next 10 games like then, but we don’t need to, we just need 2 points per game. Any finishing position 90+ will be enough.

Creativity is our major problem, a combination of the final ball, which is often appalling, and a striker making the correct runs or link ups.

But in that we have so many wingers to come back and so many central midfielders, it is hard to see us recruiting anywhere apart from striker. The only thing I can imagine us doing is selling Koleosho, but on balance I think they may keep him in case we go up, when he could be very useful on the break.

So we need about 3-4 top options at striker and go all out for one or two of those.

Would selling Trafford be a problem as we have a good replacement lined up.

That would surely release some funds.

....plus a keeper.
Ok, JT decent shot stopper but still very indecisive on corners, nowhere near as agile as a keeper should
Seriously ?
He seems pretty agile to me in making key saves in almost every match recently.
Though we have restricted the opposition to a lot of chances in most games this season we seem to concede at least one very big chance nearly every game - even to the poorer teams. JT has saved a lot of one on ones and other big chances and some fans still seem to say he is not good enough or that it’s because of poor finishing.

Don’t worry he’ll be gone soon enough and you can dream of us signing an agile keeper

We certainly don't need a keeper. Trafford is playing well and our backup got his team promoted last season!

Think our backup may be off this Jan - too good to be a reserve. Depends if anyone comes in for Traff.
