All along the walkway next to the beach, and round by the ferry terminal ,and I’ve no problem you not liking where we stay as half the restaurants in San Blas I wouldn’t be seen dead in we much prefer where we used to stay where Costa Adeje meets La Caletta but where we are now is much nearer for our friends to ferry us about ,but I’ll give you one think we like about Los Christanos is Restaurante Overseas, which is probably the best Asian Restaurant in the South.
I was only in Blackpool a few weeks ago, and didn't see any nice bars out in the open where I could sit with nice views, pleasant customers, with no stag or hen parties
I did see lots of slot machine arcades, candy floss stalls, burger stalls, fish and chips, cheap tacky horse pulled carriages, non of which I've seen in the area you mention
The only reason I don't like your area is down to personal choice. It's a lovely place to visit, but it's too quiet for us and without a car we'd struggle to get around

Las Galletas this afternoon, lovely promenade with cafes / restaurants. Had tapas in a Peruvian restaurant , excellent food served by lovely people.

On the way back we stopped at an Italian bar / restaurant for a drink and were served with a slice of fresh pizza each free gratis, lovely touch.

Only dampener on the afternoon, it clouded out over and started to rain so the late evening sunbathing turned into an hours kip indoors.

Let’s see what the hotel in Golf del Sur lives up tomorrow, hopefully puts a good finish to an excellent week. Will certainly return to this region of Tenerife.

Upgraded to all inclusive for €30 - good deal , in total €90 for 2 to have free run of facilities till 6pm. Decent hotel and by the sounds of it very very close to the airport. Ideal if you have a late flight.

La caleta and El Duqe are nice, but maybe not flat enough for what is requested. Love the walk from la caleta to las americas but it's very up and down

Never been to golf del sur, a previous poster on here used to swear by the place though
We used to go to Golf del sur quite regularly a few years back.Quiet but very relaxing, buses were good too!

If you want a nice inexpensive break, out of season,I recommend Cyprus.

Really nice climate,(22/25 degree), right up to Xmas.Jan/feb ok too,but you do get a bit or rain then.
Dont go to Paphos, try over the hill at Polis/Latchi, about 40 mins by car from Paphos.Latchi has a gorgeous marina with fantastic affordable
restaurants!

We have been going 4/5 times a year for the last 8 years.Hiring a car is a must do,if only for 2/3 days.Get up into the hills and visit the villages,
You will be warmly welcomed. They drive on the same side of the road as us,which makes it very easy to get around,no stress!
We have met many ex pats out there, who have become close friends.

Tell you the truth,I would move over there tomorow,if the mrs would(children/grandkids)
When we retire,we will be spending a lot of time out there(you are allowed 90 days, then you have to leave for 90 days) bloody Brexit!
We were fortunate to buy a place out there, when prices were low,now they have rocketed!
All budget airlines fly to Paphos, you can get some REALLY GOOD deals, out of season, car hire too!
try it....you will be pleasently surprised!
