5 points dropped in 2 games. It’s the annual Leeds collapse. Who would’ve predicted that?
Started early this year

It's been a great weekend, but far too early to celebrate.
The old cliche one game at a time springs to mind. We just need to concentrate on ourselves

Surely that only applies to the players? We supporters can get well carried away with impunity!

Supporters can do what they like, but I still think it stands for them as well.
It's the expectation that kills you. I'd rather hope for the best than expect it.

The players need to focus more than ever, we are still officially 3rd in a 2 horse race, and even should we leap either of Sheff U or DL, we'll be one bad result from dropping to 3rd again. It's a pressure game as much as anything, but I have faith SP has the character to see us through.

Bringing Barnes into this dressing room along with his experience for this run in could be an absolute masterstroke.

Burnley are 9/1 to be Champions, ridiculous odds.

I strongly advise you to fill your boots.

If the form of the last ten games carries on into the next ten games the top three is :

Sheffield United 100

Leeds 99

Burnley 96

Sheffield United have 24 points from the last 10, Leeds 23 and us 22.

Anything can happen though.

Is that including the cup games. What if it's league games only?

It is league games

We’ve had a lot of draws. Sheffield United have lost twice but still have gained more points that us.

So we could be one of their next two theoretical defeats and we’d draw the same amount theoretically and still be third.

That's what the odds adjuster is looking at, they don't often get it wrong but they have this time.

The bookies are looking at the liabilities they have if Leeds win the league given the national obsession that they are the best team ever to grace the championship and the bets placed by the millions of Leeds fans worldwide. There is, therefore, lots of value in backing the other runners.

Top scorers in the last six games then. Not bad for a team that doesn’t score!

I can only imagine how the commentators would have reacted if a Portsmouth defender had have caught a shot on the line as one did with us :)

I reckon WBA ,Coventry and Sheff U are the 3 hardest games ,win those 3 and we’ll romp it ,but Tuesday night is the real big one.

10 victories would mean 104 points, 3 more than under Mr.Kompany 2 years ago.
Sheffield United finished second with 91 points, Luton third with 80 points.

We are currently six points behind where we were two years ago with ten games to go.

Not too bad considering we are so boring to watch! :)

Still 6 points behind 2 years ago but the next 3 were 2 draws and the QPR defeat. We can close the gap in the next 3.

Now 1 point behind 2 years ago, but the last 3 were all wins.
