The Coyle promotion is my favourite.

The Cup run, the trip to Wembley, it was all unexpected and amazing. I have always been a pessimist and never expected us to up. I had seen Burnley play in all the other Divisions apart from the Prem and had received relentless stick whist going to a Blackburn school. When the final whistle went at Wembley I cried, and I still well up when I see the celebrations at the final whistle

1972/73 was my first promotion too so will always place that one first.

My favourite, simply because I believed at the time we were back where we belonged, and I fully expected us to stay there.

It was like we went up two steps at the same time and the whole atmosphere changed.
We went from looking to get out of the basement to looking to step up from mid-tier which, as we all know, we recently managed.
There was a football tournament here yesterday and my son, known as "the soccer kid" and successor to Messi and Ronaldo, scored five goals. After his third, the parents of his team mates were shouting "hat-trick a Burleney" at me. They haven't quite managed to pronounce it yet but they're getting there
