400 followers on facebook suggests a bit of a damp squib.
One of the organisers has just been on Radio Five and its safe to say she didn't come across well.

Re: General Election 2017 Mega Thread
1354...sneering again..ha..that worked well in the election..
..let it slide Falcon, this bunch of jokers have been on the run since Election Night..10.01 pm.. exit poll - even the dimmest can see what's happened; one team won but the other team have been in the ascendancy ever since..
Theresa May..do I really need to say anything..no of course not.
They can't wait to ditch the emotionless cold fish but everyone knows ( all sides) they can't do it yet. She is worse than useless despite her 'strong and stable' comments - she has been found out.
The DUP will make threats about walking away
( bargaining tool..wake up) - they ain't going anywhere. They know TM is ----- but they will avoid Corbyn whatever it takes..
The DUP are in charge now for a while, better get used to it.
I wish JC and his pals would shut up about 'forming an alternative Government'.
- let these clowns sort this utter mess out for the next x years and some of them need proper holding to account...top of my list is ( I think he is called Gavin Barwell)..who is her new right hand 'man' but was previously much involved with 'Housing' and sitting on reports and housing recommendations ( sometimes known as ' cutting costs at all costs') rather than take effective action..
I think he is on a three week snorkelling holiday many miles away but with a bit of luck he will be spotted soon, when he comes up for air...and then it will be front row viewing.
I thought 'cruel sports' had been banned.
**apologies for any errors I am on my phone and didn't check everything.

Foxes breather again.
DUP are proving almost enemylike negotiators, as they have her over a barrel. Just shows that before anything in Europe has happened, she has proved to be in pieces before we start. Must be that Grammar school education not doing any good after all!

1361.. tragic beyond belief..
What?
JC walked in behind a bunch of people in robes i some inconsequential ceremonial stuff...didn't BOW HIS HEAD ( neither would I and millions of others) and you're trying to mug him off again..
What will it take for the idiots to realise that these tactics don't work and have backfired badly so far.

It is really confusing watching some still celebrate Corbyn winning, when the truth is he lost to one of the worst campaigns ever

Apparently he was just following the correct protocol and other MPs didn't bow either and Cameron didn't bow last year. No story here.Caballo wrote:I think he mugged himself off to be honest hampstead, it's puerile sh1te like that, that undermines his cause.

Re: General Election 2017 Mega Thread
Corbyn is hard wired to be in opposition to any form of authority and to support whatever whoever is losing their fight
As a leader he's going to have a problem when all of a sudden everything is his fault.
He can't stand on an empty IRA ammunition crate in Brussels, lecturing them, they don't give a F@ck and would probably neutralise him.

'He can't stand on an empty IRA ammunition crate in Brussels,''
Have you been away for a couple of weeks?
Why don't you keep up...read a few more posts?
That IRA [peace talks] stuff is so much yesterday's news..really - it didn't work anyway..give it a rest.
There's a new story in town...they are called the DUP - they are running the show now, listen to them.
** 'would probably neutralise him.'..???
Really?..or is that just more rubbish/bollux from you - please explain that one carefully, if you can..love to hear what you have to say.

Re: General Election 2017 Mega Thread
When stories are refuted so quickly on-line it's really only the print media that can get away with running the hatchet jobs (as we saw during the election).
For those who were definite that Theresa May and the conservatives' negotiation skills were the reason to vote for them. how would you rate the warm-up performance so far? Given it's with a party that broadly agrees with the conservatives, contains a handful of MPs and intensely dislikes the idea of the opposition being in power it seems to be dragging on a bit. I'm not sure if it bodes well for negotiation with far more parties, a more intractable deadline and parties who aren't on your side.

That's because you think a successful election result can only be winning it. Corbyn was supposed to lose terribly. May was supposed to have a three-figure majority. The target for Corbyn and Labour was simply to keep that majority as small as possible. The fact that they prevented a tory majority altogether is a huge success considering what they were up against in terms of the hatred directed at them and smears about them in the press.
You can continue to delude yourself into thinking that the Labour campaign was a failure because they didn't win, in fact I welcome it. It bodes well for the left in the next GE for you to continue to think this way.
