Hmmm. Its very kind of Tony to include me in the "team", but I'm really not sure I can take any credit at all. My input was limited to spending a little bit of time road-testing the site in its infancy. There's been lots more road-testing since and lots more real work to get the site up and running besides, so there are far more worthy individuals for thanks than me.

But it is well overdue, the feedback so far to day seems great and so hopefully the transition is going to be as seamless as Tony and co deserve it to be.

One name that appears to be missing from those being specifically thanked is dibraidio who from what I've seen over the past 10 days of testing and gremlin hunting appears to be the "webmaster"(??)

I feel the slow decline of CM wasn't just down to the state of the site. Too often over the past 18 months it has become a platform for a small number of posters to trade insults, childish jibes and foster personal duels and I for one found it had become boring beyond belief.

I hope this marks a return to healthy debate aligned with honest opinions about a multiplicity of subjects, something we all enjoyed I'm sure.

I am sure we will be 100% behind the people who have made this happen and make this the No1 site for fans of BURNLEY FOOTBALL CLUB .

Spice: I saw your name when I clicked on "The Team'. If Tony included you then he did so for a reason.

If there are other Clarets who contributed then my thanks go to them too.

A lot of new features have been added since this morning and I really like the look of the forum home page. It makes you want to use it. CM wasn't overly elegant but this forum is sublime.
