Both keepers played well.
Central defence was very poor - infact it was that poor that Jones was made to look the best of the 3...or least poorest.
Sterling as frustratingly bad as ever.
Ali tired
Dier was dire
Tripps and Bertrand both played well - incredibly bad decision to take Tripps off.
Kane played well.
England looked a long long way from a team who can win or even go far in any tournament. I know it's a meaningless friendly, end of a long season etc....but it's the same for France and they just embarrassed England with 10 men for half the game. The French squad when you think of the potential, rested players like Griezman etc were just much stronger.
Hard to judge Southgate - he comes across as a decent bloke and he has given Tripps, Keane and Heaton a chance - which they all derserved. He does not have a great team at his disposal so not sure how any manager could do much better.
I could have made this post a lot shorter by simply saying England are just a bit sh-it !

You could have made this post a lot shorter by deleting two words from your last sentence - 'a bit'.TVC15 wrote:Both keepers played well.
