You were the clown who blamed pickford for Columbia's goal when trippier took responsbiltiy. You must be well good in goal. Either that or you're full of shite.

No taio, I said trippier made an error but pickford could have done better with it as his starting position was poor. He doesn't really know what to do at corners so he's a bit in no man's land.

Please tell me this is fishing ? While a keeper needs to be tall per se , to think that “ taller they are more they save” ...it’s up there with “ the harder you kick it the more you’ll score” god almighty words really do fail
Two specific keepers were cited, not every big gorilla.

His distribution was outstanding.. Highlighted on the BBC.. Accept it for crying out loud, southgate has made the right call naming him no 1.. Look past being a Burnley fan for once!

He has done well so far but the media are becoming too hyped up with some of the routine saves. He's the goalkeeper, that's his job. He has made two, maybe three good saves at most.

Distribution has been okay but not surgical as some would believe, sure he kicks it well going long but I'll bet more often than not it lands with the opposition.

It's ingrained in his make up to try and look flashy. Look how many times he flies through the air when the ball is going 10 yards wide, he can't help himself.

I don't want to detract from his performance because overall it's been good but perhaps because we have witnessed it almost every week from Nick Pope and Tom before him, we are spoilt.

Oh and the best save was at the end of the Colombia game but they scored from the resulting corner which sort of negates the importance of the save anyway.

When Sweden had that long range shot early in the first half it did look like he was putting on a show for the cameras, as any competent keeper should never have had to move as it was going that far over the crossbar!

If it was going that far over the crossbar how was he able to touch it? I think it was probably going wide.

I think you are getting confused with another effort they had.

He does it for his Club as well to be fair and one day it may bite him on the bum if he gets injured.
