Yes! At last.
Re: today's footy 27/12
Maguire was outstanding for England at the Euros. Been off form since though, but then again so have most of the United side.

Cavani again he's one of the few Utd players who actually play for the shirt these days.

United have been dreadful yet should still very easily have three in the second half.

Nearly a second for MU there after another lack of communication between keeper & defender

Man Utd have been shocking yet they’ve still had more shots and over 75% possession. Not sure you can describe that as against the run of play

ASM pulled up, looks like calf or hamstring injury, with that and Wilson off injured it is good news.

2 injuries
An unhealthy goal difference
4 games behind
Still bottom
Good night. Just need a united 2nd goal now

Not that want players to be seriously injured, but Newcastle losing Wilson & ASM for a few games isn’t a bad outcome for us

Happens all the time. People take expectation into account. If you didn't know the league position you wouldn't say Newcastle have been any betterWinstonswhite wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 9:40 pmYou are joking aren’t you?

St. Max off injured... don't wish the guy any harm, but could do with him being out with a niggling injury
for a few games.

United look shattered.
Must be the gruelling schedule they’ve had over the past two weeks.

probably because of the lack of minutes in the legs over the last 2 weeksBordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 9:52 pmUnited look shattered.

Don’t do that.
I thought there was a goal and I was behind on the stream
Re: today's footy 27/12
Two incredibly poor teams on show tonight, although Newcastle have worked ever so hard and probably deserve to have won.
Thank Christ for Cavani.

Re: today's footy 27/12
Good game.
The way I look at it is that this was Newcastle at their absolute motivated best and unable to beat a United who don’t really seem to know what they’re doing at the moment.
Good news for rest of the dogfight, starting on Thursday.

You would hope that Wood could rediscover some form against this defence.

Re: today's footy 27/12
You have to love the refs.
Six mins injury time.
Newcastle player runs away with the ball for a United throw.
Ref then stops the game and United from taking the throw in while he books him.
Then blows the full time whistle dead on 96 mins.

United will call the game off on Thursday because of 'tired players'. New Premier League rule.

Should use basket ball timer clock that stops for bookings, injury etc.

Re: today's footy 27/12
Not a bad outcome for us in the end, and we have a crazy 4 games in hand on Newcastle now, of course they only matter if we can pick up a good haul of points from them.
A few injuries for Newcastle tonight as well, and key injuries at that especially ASM and Wilson.
19 points Toon have dropped from winning positions this season, which works out neatly at 1 per game, that's got to be a concern for them going forwards.

Depends who they bring in tho. Could be a blessing for them, especially if it's only a month or so out. Got quite a nice run until March
